Loaded Cheesy Pocket Tacos
Ingredients
- 12 x 6-inch flour tortillas
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 8 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons melted butter or oil
- Salsa sliced black olives, sour cream and/or green onions (optional toppings)
Instructions
- Pan fry the beef in a skillet and then drain off the excess grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning mix.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Beat the cream cheese with the salsa in a bowl.
- Divide the cream cheese mixture between the tortillas.
- Top with the beef mixture
- Then sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- Fold or roll up the tortilla and arrange them on greased baking trays.
- Brush with melted butter or oil and bake for 15 minutes, then add toppings of choice, and serve hot.
