These pocket tacos are so easy to prepare and they make wonderful snacks. They’re also good for dinner, paired with your favorite sides.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 x 6-inch flour tortillas
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 8 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or oil
  • Salsa sliced black olives, sour cream and/or green onions (optional toppings)

Instructions
 

  • Pan fry the beef in a skillet and then drain off the excess grease.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning mix.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Beat the cream cheese with the salsa in a bowl.
  • Divide the cream cheese mixture between the tortillas.
  • Top with the beef mixture
  • Then sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  • Fold or roll up the tortilla and arrange them on greased baking trays.
  • Brush with melted butter or oil and bake for 15 minutes, then add toppings of choice, and serve hot.
  • Enjoy!
