In a small bowl, combine all the fajita seasoning ingredients and stir well.
Generously coat both sides of the chicken breasts with the seasoning, using your fingers to press it into the meat.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 7-8 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
While the chicken cooks, slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips.
Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and set it aside to rest for a few minutes. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion to the same skillet and sauté for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened.
When the vegetables are nearly done, slice the chicken into thin strips.
Return the sliced chicken to the skillet, squeeze in some fresh lime juice, and stir everything to combine.
Serve immediately with warm tortillas and optional toppings like sour cream, pico de gallo, and guacamole.
