I love how it combines the flavors of a classic Sloppy Joe with the convenience and portability of a burrito.

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 lbs. Ground beef
  • 2 tsp. Brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. Onion powder
  • 2 Tbsp. Chopped onion
  • 2 C. Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. Bell pepper chopped
  • C. Milk
  • ½ C. Ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 C. Cheddar cheese
  • 8 Flour tortillas

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and bell peppers until the meat is browned and the vegetables are tender. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the brown sugar, onion powder, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the milk and 2 cups of cheese, stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
  • Lay out the tortillas on a flat surface. Spoon some of the meat mixture into the center of each. Top with a generous amount of cheese sauce.
  • Fold in the sides of the tortillas and roll them up to form burritos. Heat oil in a clean skillet over medium heat and fry the burritos until crispy on all sides. Serve with additional cheddar cheese sprinkled on top.
  • Enjoy!
