Brown the ground beef, drain off any excess grease and stir in the seasonings.
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan and add the pasta shells, then toast them in the oil until golden.
Add the water, tomato sauce, ground beef, corn, soup mix, and oregano.
Add more water if there doesn’t seem to be enough.
Bring to a boil, then cover and turn down the heat.
Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes or until the pasta is al dente or soft (as you prefer).
Add salt to taste and serve hot, with cilantro and lime wedges if liked.
