Grandma’s Chili Verde and Spanish Rice
Ingredients
- 6 large pork chops in large chunks
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1 chopped large yellow onion
- 1 chopped jalapeno chile canned
- 14 ounces canned chopped green chiles
- 1 large yellow wax chile
- 1 chopped medium fresh tomato
- Salt to taste
- 3 cups water
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Cumin to taste
Instructions
- Brown the pork in olive oil in a large pot.
- Add all the other ingredients to the pot, stirring to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and then turn it down and simmer, covered, until the meat is tender.
