Cheesy Taco sticks
Ingredients
- 1 lb. 450g ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix or homemade taco seasoning
- 1 tube Pillsbury Pizza Dough
- 5 Colby jack and cheddar cheese sticks halved
- 4 tbsp. 56g butter melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly grease a large baking sheet with non-stick spray. Set it aside.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up with a wooden spoon until it's fully browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat and return the skillet to the stove.
- Add the taco seasoning (without water) to the beef and stir to coat the meat evenly. Remove from heat and allow it to cool to room temperature.
- Roll out the Pillsbury pizza dough on a flat surface. Slice it in half lengthwise, then make four cuts in both directions to create 10 small rectangles.
- Place about a tablespoon (or more) of the taco meat in the center of each dough rectangle. Add a halved cheese stick on top of the meat.
- Carefully roll each dough rectangle into a stick, ensuring the seams are sealed.
- Mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley in a small bowl. Brush the mixture over the taco sticks.
- Arrange the sticks on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- Serve hot with your favorite taco toppings, and enjoy the irresistible combination of cheesy, savory goodness in every bite!
- Enjoy!
