Green Chile Stew With Ground Beef

This delicious stew recipe is so easy to make and you need so few ingredients. Of course, you can add anything else you want, or change some of the ingredients. You can also adjust the spice level.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small can diced green chilies drained
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 diced yellow onion
  • 8 cups broth beef or chicken
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 4 peeled diced russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin

Instructions
 

  • Brown the ground beef with the onion in a large pot for about 6 minutes or until almost completely browned.
  • Add the chiles, cumin, salt, potatoes, and broth.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Simmer for 10 minutes and then add the tomatoes.
  • Simmer for another 5 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
  • Serve hot.
